Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the SezExim website or app. In these terms, "we" means SezExim. "You" means you, and the SEZ unit you use the app for.

By using the website or the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use them.

1. What SezExim does

SezExim helps SEZ units prepare filings for ICEGATE. Today it makes DTA procurement filings.

2. Your account

  • You must be 18 or older, and allowed to act for the SEZ unit you use the app for.
  • We open accounts only for SEZ units that we have verified.
  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You are responsible for everything done with your account.
  • Tell us at once at info@sezexim.com if you think someone else is using your account.
  • The details you give us must be true and up to date.

3. You are responsible for your filings

The app helps you prepare a filing. It does not file for you, and it does not give tax or legal advice. AI can misread an invoice.

You must check every draft before you upload it on ICEGATE. You are responsible for everything you file.

ICEGATE is run by the Government of India. Its own rules apply to what you file there, and we are not responsible for whether it is available.

4. Fees

You pay a fixed fee every month. The fee gives your account access to the app for that month. If the fee is not paid, we may stop your access until it is paid. We agree the fee with you when we open your account, and we send you an invoice for it.

5. AI scans

  • Every month you can scan a fixed number of invoices with AI, at no extra cost.
  • One scan covers an invoice of up to two pages. A longer invoice counts as more than one scan.
  • If a scan fails because of a problem on our side, it is not counted against your credits.
  • If the file you upload is read but is not an invoice, the scan is counted. The app tells you when this happens.
  • When you have no scans left, you can still fill the form by hand.

6. What you must not do

  • break the law, or help anyone else break it;
  • upload files that you have no right to share;
  • try to get into accounts or data that are not yours;
  • disrupt the app, or overload it with automated requests.

7. Who owns what

Your data stays yours. You allow us to use it only to run the service for you, as our Privacy policy explains.

The app, its design and the SezExim name and logo belong to us or the people we licence them from. You may not copy or use them without our written permission.

8. Limit of our liability

We provide the service as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available or free of errors, or that ICEGATE will accept a filing.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. This includes but is not limited to lost profit, lost business, and penalties or interest on a filing.

Our total liability to you, for all claims together, is limited to the amount you paid us in your last monthly invoice.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using SezExim at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, or if we stop running the service, or for any other reason. When we can, we will email you first.

Sections 7, 8 and 11 still apply after your account is closed.

10. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, we publish a new version with a new number and date, and ask you to accept it before you keep using the app.

11. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan, decide any dispute about them.
